At Opia Radiance we believe that you should be able to tailor make your facial treatment to suit your individual needs. All treatments will begin will an initial advanced skin consultation and investigation which will cover your lifestyle habits, diet and medical history allowing me to provide you with advice on not only how to look after your skin on the outside, but also on the inside starting from a cellular level. All products used during skin care services are to the highest standards and provide clinically proven results. I personally use the products personally to determine their efficacy. Here at Opia Radiance we only use products that are clean from harmful chemicals, environmentally conscious, Organic where possible and that are cruelty free.

What skincare brands do we use?
For our day to day facials we use Evolve Beauty using products are lovingly handmade in small batches at their studio in Hertfordshire, England to ensure the freshness of the precious antioxidants in the natural oils, butters and extracts. Their products are vegan, cruelty free and eco-friendly and are results driven.

For our advanced skincare treatments we use high end Cosmeceuticals brands DP Dermaceuticals and Juliette Armand which are scientifically proven to encourage skin reproduction of collagen and Hyaluronic acid, targeting specific skin concerns such as Acne, scarring, imbalances, Skin Pigmentation, Rosacea, Fine lines and wrinkles.

What does the basic Facial include?

The basic facial consists of cleansing, Toning, exfoliation, mask and prescriptive moisturisers and serums tailored to your individual skin needs and concerns. You skin will be left feel soft, nourished and will positively glow. The basic facial can be as a stand alone treatment or optional add on treatments can be added, creating a truly personalised treatment.

What are the optional add on services and how does it work?

When it comes to choosing which facial is right for you, its often hard to choose as there are elements of them all that you want, so by creating the pick and mix facial we have put the power in your hands to not only decide what your focal point of the treatment should be, but also allowing you to work within your budget. On top of the basic facial you can choose from as many add on treatments as you like all you have to do is add on the extra time and cost.

What is Gua Sha?

Gua Sha facial is based on an ancient Chinese healing technique, first referred to in a classical Chinese medical text from around 220 CE and it was fairly different from what we are more familiar with nowadays. The facial treatment takes place by using rollers and rounded edge tools of all shapes, made of rose quartz.

The massage strokes help to break up muscular tension caused by water retention. Which leads to reduced puffiness or inflammation. The benefits are not only temporary, over time and practice it has long-term results. This all-natural face lifting also promotes collagen production which fills and softens the fine lines and wrinkles, while boosting the skin’s elasticity. The treatment also causes lymphatic drainage, aiding your body to eliminate unwanted toxins.

Head, Neck Massage and Facial massages

If the Gua Sha technique is not for you, then why not opt for a traditional pressure point facial massage or relaxing head and neck massage to ease away any tension you may have leaving you feeling totally relaxed and refreshed whilst also providing lymphatic drainage and improving circulation. If you want to go even deeper into a relaxation state a meditation can be soothingly played in the background of your treatment.

Ultrasonic Face Cleansing

This add on treatment is a professional skin care system with 3 modes for the complex care of your skin: ultrasonic massage, ultrasonic peeling and Iontophoresis. This beauty device gently cleans and refreshes the skin, acting as a lifting massager and comedone extractor.

Iontophoresis tones and massages tissue on a cellular level. It enriches the skin with oxygen and enhances the process of nutrients absorption in the deepest skin levels. High frequent vibrations thoroughly clean skin pores and make your skin soft, fresh and delicate. Whilst the Ultrasonic skin scrubber effectively removes old cells and stimulates rejuvenation process.

Advanced Extraction
Blackheads, pustules, Milia and pimples can all be safely removed using various techniques and equipment in a clean and sterile environment. Advanced extraction techniques cause minimal trauma to the skin and prevent the risk and spread of infection.

Dermaplaning

This exfoliating treatment works by scraping dead cells (and fine hairs) from the skin's surface with a surgical scalpel, moving the tool slowly across the face. It’s an instant skin refresh. How? Build-up of dead skin can make for a 'dull' complexion and encourage breakouts (from clogged pores and blocked hair follicles). Hair-removal is sort of a side note, the real resolution is fresher feeling skin, from the exfoliating cleanse.

Genosys CO2 mask

Is a carboxy mask that induces supply oxygen to the skin. It helps to treat blemishes, improves skin texture, promotes Skin brightening and facial contouring. This treatment leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Genosys skincare is a high tech Korean brand and with Korea being at the forefront of high tech skin care, so you can guarantee the products are results driven.

Eye Treatment

Treat your eye area to a relaxing massage treatment using a combination of hand pressure point techniques and Rose Quartz healing stones. This traditional technique is further developed to not only increase blood flow to the eyes, but also stimulates skin cell turnover and reduce water retention and inflammation. The treatment will be finished of with a Prescriptive eye serum and moisturising infusion.

*The Revitalising Eye Treatment is a very safe treatment for most healthy adults. However, the treatment should be avoided for those with bloodborne illnesses, on blood thinning medication or have clotting disorders, and for those who’ve has surgery in the last six weeks.
