  • What happens during the treatment?

Dermalux MD treatments are delivered in a calm, clinical environment following a detailed consultation and skin assessment. The light panels are positioned comfortably over the face or body, allowing targeted wavelengths to penetrate the skin without direct contact.

Goggles are provided as the light can be quite bright for some individuals.

Each session typically lasts 30 minutes and is completely pain-free. The treatment is relaxing and requires no recovery time, making it suitable as a standalone therapy or as a complementary treatment alongside other advanced skin procedures.

    How does the Dermalux work?

Dermalux MD is an award-winning LED light therapy system that uses patented Tri-Wave technology to deliver clinically proven wavelengths of light to the skin. Each wavelength targets a different skin concern, allowing the treatment to support repair, rejuvenation, and balance at a cellular level.

Unlike traditional single-colour LED devices, Dermalux can deliver multiple wavelengths simultaneously, creating a bespoke treatment that works across several skin layers at once. This unique approach allows Dermalux to treat a wide range of concerns in one relaxing, non-invasive session.

    Understanding the Light Wavelengths

    • Blue Light
Targets acne-causing bacteria, helping to calm breakouts, reduce congestion, and support clearer skin.

    • Red Light
Stimulates the skin’s natural repair processes by supporting collagen and elastin production. It helps improve skin firmness, texture, fine lines, and overall radiance.

    • Near-Infrared Light
Penetrates deeper into the skin to support healing, reduce inflammation, and strengthen the skin barrier. It is ideal for sensitivity, redness, post-procedure recovery, and compromised skin.

    Why Tri-Wave Technology Matters

Dermalux’s patented Tri-Wave technology allows blue, red, and near-infrared light to be used together in a single treatment, delivering comprehensive skin benefits that go beyond surface results. This multi-layered approach supports:

    • Cellular energy and skin vitality

    • Improved intercellular communication

    • Faster skin recovery and repair

    • Balanced, healthier-functioning skin

The treatment works by energising skin cells without heat, discomfort, or damage, making it safe and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, reactive, or post-treatment skin.

A Treatment That Adapts to Your Skin

Dermalux is highly versatile and can be used as:

    • A stand-alone skin rejuvenation treatment

    • A corrective treatment for acne, redness, pigmentation, and ageing concerns

    • A calming and healing therapy following aesthetic or medical procedures

    • A maintenance treatment to support long-term skin health

  • Advanced Clinical Expertise You Can Trust

As a highly qualified Advanced Skin Science Practitioner with extensive training across injectable treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, regenerative therapies, and advanced skin boosters, every procedure is delivered with precision, safety, and a deep understanding of skin biology.

Aesthetic treatments should never be one-size-fits-all. When performed by under-qualified or inexperienced practitioners, treatments can lead to complications such as inflammation, barrier disruption, pigmentation irregularities, poor aesthetic outcomes, or even long-term tissue damage.

More aggressive does not mean more effective. Whether the treatment involves injectables, energy-based devices, or skin resurfacing, excessive or poorly judged intervention can compromise skin integrity and accelerate ageing rather than improve it.

A clinically guided approach ensures that every treatment plan is tailored, evidence-based, and designed to enhance results while protecting the long-term health and function of your skin.
